1. Warranty Coverage:

The Crewmate Finger Print Scanner V2 is covered under a Lifetime Warranty, which is valid for approximately 5 years from the date of purchase.

  • The warranty covers:
    • Manufacturing defects.
    • Software malfunctions related to firmware.
    • Hardware malfunctions not resulting from misuse.

2. Exclusions:

The following scenarios are NOT covered under the warranty:

  • Physical damage caused due to mishandling, accidents, or negligence.
  • Unauthorized modifications or repairs.
  • Damage due to exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, or corrosive environments.
  • Normal wear and tear, including cosmetic damages.
  • Any issue arising due to incompatible accessories or third-party software.

4. Claims Procedure:

If your device encounters any issues covered under warranty:

5. Replacement:

6. Warranty on Repairs:

Any repairs or replacements done under this warranty will be covered for the remainder of the original warranty period or for 90 days, whichever is longer.


7. Limitation of Liability:

Crewmate is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use or service of the product. The warranty service constitutes the purchaser’s sole remedy.


8. Changes to the Warranty Policy:

Crewmate reserves the right to make changes to this warranty policy at any time. However, any changes will not affect products already purchased before the policy change.


9. Governing Law:

This warranty policy shall be governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.
